The XL Vehicle Actuation Simulator provides vehicle detection actuations by changing the inductance of a simulated loop and causing a voltage spike resembling the pulse generated by an in-pavement piezo.
The user may select to activate single loops or paired loops in fixed patterns or user configured parameters such as vehicle class, vehicle speed, length and flow rate. These variables are changed to create various controlled traffic conditions. The device may be configured to the actual site format through setting loop lengths and separation distances.
